Hi, my name is Ashton and I live in Dade City, Florida.

I am 13-years old and in the 7th grade. I have had vitiligo now for three years.

On August 3rd , 2006, AVRF made my dream came true. I got to go to the Buccaneers training camp in Orlando Florida and meet “THE TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS.” Mom, my brother and uncle, along with Stella the president of the AVRF and I spent the day watching them practice and meeting them. They gave me a football that I was able to get autographed by some of the Bucs great players: Shelton Quarles, Chris Simms, Ronde Barber, Mike Alstott, Davin Joseph and many others. We gave them all AVRF bracelets for “Embracing Diversity” and calendars. It was hot, but we had the greatest day ever! 

Thank you AVRF for making my dream come true. AVRF has helped me with learning to accept my vitiligo and being myself with vitiligo. You guys at the AVRF are the greatest! For the time you put into us kids, we can never say thank you enough. “AVRF RULES!”
