Gabby

My name is Gabrielle, but everyone calls me Gabby; and I am in the 6th grade.  I have had Vitiligo since I was very young and it has always been a part of my life.  My mom says God chose me and I am special.

My Vitiligo does not bother me.  It is who I am.  I wish my mom would get over it and just ignore people who stare like she tells me to do.  I know it hurts her but I am o.k. with it.  I have goals and I will reach them because I am just like anybody else, we are all unique in our own ways.

My trip to Florida was cool.  I met lots of people who also had Vitiligo and they all understood what life is like.  We had fun and I wish I could do it again this year!
