Hi I'm Desiree and I was five years old when I got vitiligo. Vitiligo has changed my life in a good way. My friends don't care about the way I look. They like me for who I am. I don't let vitiligo stop me for wearing shorts or skirts.

All of my friends think that I'm the most girlie girl, Queen of make-up, and a Diva. I've always felt great about myself. I have met a lot of new friends through AVRF. I attended the AVRF seminar last summer and I had a great time.

I have a mom, dad, brother, and a guinea pig named blonde. I love them all very much.
