My name is NaDajiah I am in the third grade, when I first got vitiligo it was hard for me. People tease you and they stare at you including grownups, it's pretty hard but you learn to deal with it. I was seven when I started getting spots now I am 9 I am still kind of shy with it but I am pretty comfortable now.

If people stare at me I just tell them what’s wrong because the more people who know about vitiligo the less they will tease me. I know it's hard out there but my mother once told me I am beautiful as anyone else in this world and if you have vitiligo you should follow what my mom said it really helps remember you are as beautiful as anyone else.

One thing that help me with my vitiligo I went to Florida to a seminar and met some wonderful people I met some ladies named Stella and Marilyn they are really nice, I felt really happy because I didn't know that other people had it too, all over the world. If you could, you should really go to Florida to a seminar someday and meet all the other people with vitiligo it will make you feel very good inside and you finally feel like somebody and very special.

If you have vitiligo and you are having trouble you should really try to go and meet other people who have it too I now know I am not alone.>
