CHILDREN’S PROGRAM, SATURDAY JULY 19TH, 2008

Hot Buffet Breakfast 7-9:30AM

Immediately following breakfast all children will participate in a fundraiser for Vitiligo.  In the past we have had different events.

We have had walks, swims, jump a thons.  This year we are going to ask the kids to vote on one of the 3 mentioned or a new way of raising awareness!

Don’t forget to save as many pennies as you can.  Turn your pennies into paper money as done in the past. All children going to Build A Bear, MUST be registered.

12:30PM-2:00PM LUNCH

Following Lunch:  The children will be taken to International Mall in Tampa for their Build A Bear adventure!

As usual the AVRF will gift each child a $25 credit to spend as he/she wishes at Build A Bear.  This year we are asking each child to bring $10.00 of his/her own money.  They will create a BEAR for a less fortunate child.  The AVRF Board of Directors has voted to initiate a NEW program entitled:  “AVRF KIDS PAY IT FORWARD”.  This year our children
will create a bear for a child living in Kenya.

Special Children’s Session:  All the children will have an opportunity to speak on coping with Vitiligo.  Since the AVRF focuses on children, we are now going to hear their voices.
